Motorized Drive with Electronic Limit Control for Up to 170 kg Sectional & Overhead Doors
This industrial lifting door motor is developed for motorized sectional door systems used in factories, warehouses, logistics centers, workshops and commercial facilities. The drive system provides controlled door movement for different lifting configurations while reducing the mechanical work normally required around the door lifting mechanism.
Two motor configurations are available for doors up to 100 kg and 170 kg, with electronic limit control and a rated output speed of 15 r/min. The system can be matched with vertical, inclined, standard and high-lift door arrangements, giving door manufacturers and project contractors more flexibility during installation.
For commercial and industrial door projects, the motor can also help reduce installation work and routine mechanical maintenance compared with conventional lifting arrangements.
Industrial sectional doors do not always have the same headroom or ceiling structure. This motor system supports four common lifting configurations, allowing the drive to be selected according to the actual door installation:
Suitable when the available headroom above the door opening is equal to or greater than the door height. The door moves upward along a vertical path, ideal for buildings with sufficient overhead clearance.
Used where the ceiling or roof structure follows a slope. The available inclined space is approximately equal to the height of the door opening, allowing the door to follow the building’s slope.
Commonly used where the available headroom is approximately 350–500 mm. This configuration provides a practical arrangement for many conventional industrial sectional door installations.
Intended for applications where available headroom is more than 500 mm but less than the door opening height. It allows the sectional door to travel higher before moving along the overhead track section.
* Selecting the lifting configuration before installation helps ensure that the motor, winding wheel and door mechanism are properly matched to the building structure.
Door Weight: Up to 100 kg
Features an output torque of 83 N·m and rated power of 300 W. Operates at 220V/50Hz with 15 r/min output speed and 165 mm winding wheel diameter. Ideal for standard industrial sectional doors.
Door Weight: Up to 170 kg
Features an output torque of 141 N·m and rated power of 400 W. Designed for heavier sectional doors, providing reliable vertical lifting with identical winding wheel dimensions (165 mm diameter).
The system uses an electronic limit rather than a conventional mechanical limit arrangement, allowing the motorized door system to control opening and closing positions smoothly according to the configured travel range.
With an opening speed of approximately 129 mm/s, the system is specified for up to 30,000 operating cycles with a 2-year warranty. Its operating cycle capability can reach approximately 4–10 times that of ordinary commercial roller shutter motors, making it highly suitable for frequent operation in logistics hubs and production facilities.
By eliminating the need for a conventional torsion spring assembly around the lifting mechanism, this drive system simplifies site work and improves installation efficiency:
Significant savings in site installation labor costs by removing complex spring setup work.
Faster project completion time with straightforward motor and lifting bracket integration.
Reduces mechanical complexity around the lifting mechanism for cleaner aesthetic and space utilization.
Eliminates periodic spring tension adjustment, inspection and replacement costs over the door’s service life.
